DENVER — Prospect Ridge Academy boys basketball made school history this March, winning its first regional title and advancing to the Denver Coliseum for the first time.

The Miners earned their regional crown with a 63–40 victory over The Classical Academy, then followed it up at the Coliseum with an 87–64 win over Fort Lupton to reach the Class 4A state semifinals. The run secured both the program’s first regional title and its first Final Four berth since joining CHSAA in 2016–17.

Prospect Ridge closed the season 20–7, setting a program record for wins in a season and collecting its first two postseason victories beyond the regional round.

The Miners’ year ended in the semifinals with an 84–70 loss to Kent Denver, which went on to win the state title.
